SAPA most proud memory
It's hard to believe it's been 10 years. Sexual Aggression Peer Advocates provided me with so much during my time at CMU.
Of all of the things I've done, I'm most proud of my involvement in SAPA.
To everyone who has kept the organization going over the years, I give you my heartfelt thanks and appreciation. You would be hard-pressed to find a group of people more compassionate, dedicated and supportive anywhere at CMU or anywhere else.

SAPA impacted life
I would like to concur with the sentiments left by the other SAPA alums. My four years in SAPA had more of an impact on me than anything else I have done in my life. I never realized just how good CMU had it with the SAPA program until I worked at two other universities after graduating from CMU.
To all the SAPAs I had the privilege of working with, I miss you all dearly. To all you current and future SAPAs, I hope you someday know just what a difference you are making in the lives of so many people.

SAPAs truly special people
I remember when SAPA first started no one could have predicted the impact that it would have on so many lives.
The women and men - past and present - of this organization are truly special people. They do this work with compassion and dedication because they care. And to anyone who has ever contacted the line or an advocate, your strength amazes me!
And to anyone who is thinking of calling, know that you are never alone. So to Steve Thompson and the entire SAPA crew: Congratulations on 10 wonderful years. I admire and love you all!

Experience strengthens life of service for some
Being far from Mount Pleasant in Denver, Colo., my heart still is warmed by the difference SAPA has made in my life and continues to make in the lives of others.
Whether speaking one-on-one to a survivor or nationally on sexual assault, this organization has strengthened and inspired my ability to reach out and pass it forward.
