To say Palahniuk is famous for pushing the limits of common decency is an understatement. The guy writes the grossest stuff he can and gets away with it because his unique writing style can make the ugliest of things appear beautiful.

Every visit to our home, he would have in possession various older movies of Superman and old-school sleuth shows to show me.
